Shop Jarvis Square Recap

I was fortunate enough to participate in the Shop Jarvis Square Artisan Market event on December 10th this year.  They've been doing it for years, I don't know how I've missed it in the past, I would have definitely been shopping.  But this year I noticed the posters and was like hey, I live on Jarvis, I want to participate. So I hunted down the organizer just in time she still had a few slots left.  I was located in the rear of Charmers Cafe/ Dagel & Beli along with four other talented artists.  There were more artisans in the Poitin Stil bar next door too.  I sold 18 items which brings me up to 161 sales!  Only 19,839 to go!  Here's my setup:

I even ended up bartering my orange sweater infinity scarf for this sweet pair of earrings by Tania Rodamilans. She also had some beautiful paintings you can see on her website.
I always say the problem with shows with multiple vendors is that I end up wanting want to buy from everyone, LOL.  I just have to pace myself.  Check out a few other people's work. Jenn Cooper & Cindy Pacyk were there offering their adorable sock monsters up for adoption.  I want one! They even had Siamese monsters!
Helene Smith had great photographs and handmade cards for sale.  All types of gems of Chicago life.
I definitely want one of Megan K's crocheted hats, and her upcycled tshirt dresses are adorable.
And you can never have too many notebooks, especially handmade leather ones, Nathan Minnehan of WalknTalk had gorgeous single signature books, and Peruvian jewelry.
Jen Smith was the organizer of the event, she has great glass pendants.
A few more must haves from the event are these adorable plush friends by EeeBeeDee! I'm torn between the toast and the popsicle.
The splendid soapstress Amanda Hitterman of the Dirty Business Bath Company had some wonderful smelling soaps, lotions and balms. They smell even better than the look!
And Laura Scherry of Venus In The Morning Creations makes these awesome stamp covered picture frames.
So there you have it, it was great fun, so enjoyed meeting everyone, and I look forward to participating next year.  So if you missed it you missed out!  Thanks to the interwebz you can still check us out!
